What Youll Do

Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on available records and clinical interviews
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary mental health team, including psychiatrists, medical staff, and social workers
Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans for inmates
Make rounds in confined areas to assess inmate mental health and adjustment
Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health treatment tailored to individual needs
Contribute to treatment planning and coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Address behavioral escalations through appropriate intervention strategies

What You Need

Required:
- Valid license or board eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist
- BLS certification aligned with CoreCivic requirements or pending attestation
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant mental health experience preferred
Preferred:
- Experience in correctional or forensic mental health environments
- Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
