What You’ll Do

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments using available records and clinical interviews
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on evaluation and functional needs
• Provide counseling and crisis-focused interventions, including confrontation avoidance strategies when needed
• Participate in a multidisciplinary mental health team by coordinating with clinicians such as psychiatry, nursing, social work, and others to support integrated care
• Perform regular rounds in segregation or other confined housing areas to assess adjustment and treatment needs
• Deliver treatment using established psychological counseling theories and techniques appropriate to assigned caseloads
• Consult with cross-functional staff (e.g., psychiatry, medical, educational, chaplaincy, and security) to understand drivers of escalated behaviors and changes in mental health condition
