Job Description
Physical Therapist - LTC/SNF
iCAN Staffing Agency is a small business founded by a nurse who believes in providing quality care to promote and maintain our patients’ dignity. We are seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to provide skilled services to help patients regain their independence and reduce their hospital length of stay. The position is a 13-week contract.
Locations:Mount Olive, NC
Shift info: Days-, 5 x 8, 0800 - 1630.

Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluation and develop a care plan.
- Help patients with mobility and movement, and help them regain their independence.
- Create detailed treatment and care plans for each patient.
- Communicate and coordinate with the patients’ physicians to ensure the quality level of care.
- Evaluate and report patients’ progress.
SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility; and
- Must have a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy; or
- Must have a Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy-related field in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; or
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent of a degree in Physical Therapy.
- Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable, independent transportation to and from the patients’ residences.
