Job Description
This is for part-time night shift- Saturday and Sundays from 2200 - 0600. free parking. In downtown Tempe in the major ASU area.Looking for someone who can start right away.This is for security at a construction site, conducting firewatch and security on a working construction site on weekends.Must have an AZ current guard card.Must have min 2 years' experience working security at a construction site.Have a solid work history.Some duties include, but not all-
- Fire watch patrols conducted each hour.
- Must have security experience working at a construction site and fire-watch patrols.
- Foot patrols of the areas, watching for theft, vandals, homeless and unauthorized people on site.
- Being able to use silvertrac for report writing and incidents as needed.
- Call 911 or non-emergency as needed.
- Be friendly but firm when dealing with people at all times on campus.
- Be able to de-escalate issues.
- Be able to work with construction crews on site at times.
- Be able to observe and report issues.
- Some issues may include, leaks, pipe bursts, door check, fence lines, gates, fires or other emergencies.
- Area is a construction site. Outside- inside-
- Port-o-johns only for restrooms.
- We supply cold bottled water and sports drinks for you on your shift.
There are six floors to patrol plus outside areas, must be able to walk, walk stairs on patrols.Must wear PPE at all times while on site. ( We supply all hard hats, gloves, safety vests and safety glasses as part of your uniform)Some shifts will be working with construction workers, must be able to work alone or with little supervision.Paid bi- weekly, direct deposit, free uniforms and safety equipment, paid vacations, referral bonus.No phone calls please- apply directly to this opening with a current resume or send resume to contact@beyondsecurityservices.com with Tempe Security in subject line.We conduct background checks as part of employment, drug free company.
