Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney with six or more years of experience to join our Public Agency practice. This position offers the opportunity to handle complex litigation matters on behalf of public entities, appear regularly in court, and work directly with clients in a collaborative and well-established practice group.

What You’ll Do

Litigate matters on behalf of public agencies, including cities, special districts, and joint powers authoritiesManage cases through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparationDraft and argue dispositive and procedural motionsAppear in court and before administrative bodiesAdvise clients regarding litigation strategy, settlement, mediation, and alternative dispute resolutionCollaborate closely with attorneys across practice groups while managing matters independentlyWhat We’re Looking For

Minimum of 6 years of litigation experienceExperience representing public agencies or litigating matters involving governmental entities strongly preferredExperience with land use and/or CEQA is a plusStrong writing, analytical, and advocacy skillsA collaborative, team-oriented approachJ.D. from an accredited law schoolActive California bar license in good standing
