Job Description

Location: Providence, RISalary: $150,000.00 USD Annually - $180,000.00 USD AnnuallyDescription:

Estimator - Public / Municipal Construction

Summary

This role oversees the full estimating lifecycle for public / municipal construction projects, including developing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project documents, and coordinating workforce and material requirements. It manages the subcontractor and vendor bid process from distributing documentation to evaluating proposals, identifying scope gaps, negotiating pricing, and supporting schedule development. The position builds strong subcontractor and vendor relationships to ensure adequate capacity for ongoing and future projects. It also partners with business development teams to prepare proposal submissions and present cost information to leadership and clients.

Additionally, the role provides leadership to the estimating team through coaching, performance management, and ongoing training and development.

Must have experience with large, high volume public and municipal construction projects.

Specific experience with Massachusetts Public Construction / DCAMM projects is a plus.
