Public Fianance Legal Assistant- Downtown Houston AreaA prestigious global law firm located in Downtown Houston is seeking a Public Finance Legal Assistant to add to their team. Candidates must have 3+ years of relevant transactional experience within public finance in a law firm setting. This position offers benefits and a great work environment as well as paid parking. This position also offers a hybrid schedule. Duties include:
- Draft, review, and revise a variety of transactional legal documents, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Coordinate all aspects of transaction closings, including finalizing execution documents, preparing closing binders, and distributing completed materials to clients and other relevant parties.
- Plan and coordinate meeting logistics, including scheduling conference rooms, video conferences, catering, and other meeting arrangements.
- Manage meeting communications by preparing and distributing invitations, agendas, and supporting materials.
- Maintain complex attorney calendars, coordinating domestic and international travel, client meetings, firm committee meetings, and other internal and external appointments.
- Organize, maintain, and manage both physical and electronic client files, ensuring proper document retention and accessibility.
- Prepare, review, and monitor attorney time entries to support accurate client billing.
