Job Description

The Public Health Services Coordinator supports essential public health programs, including WIC, by coordinating services, assisting clients with eligibility and enrollment, maintaining program records, supporting outreach efforts, and ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements. This role is ideal for an organized, service-driven professional who is passionate about improving community health and collaborating with diverse populations.

Position: Public Health Services Coordinator

Location: Miles City, MT

Type: Part-Time: 32 hrs/week (Mon-Thurs 8 am - 5 pm)

Salary: $19.63-$20.66/hr DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support public health programs, projects, and initiatives.
  • Determine WIC eligibility, complete certifications, and assist clients with enrollment and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and program reporting.
  • Manage scheduling, outreach, follow-up, and participant engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with public health staff, state agencies, community partners, and vendors.
  • Conduct vendor monitoring, training, and compliance activities for the WIC program.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to public health programs.
  • Participate in community outreach, quality improvement, and risk management initiatives.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting One Health's mission and values.

What we are looking for:

  • Associate's degree or in lieu of degree, four (4) years' experience in public health or a combination of college and experience.
  • One (1) year of public health experience
  • Valid driver's license
