Job Opportunity: LaborerThe City of Nacogdoches Public Works Department is seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our Streets Division! This role directly impacts the safety and appearance of our city streets and infrastructure.What You Will Do:Road Maintenance: Patch potholes, seal cracks and repair streets using asphalt and concrete.Traffic Safety: Paint crosswalks, parking lines and maintain traffic signage.Groundskeeping: Trim vegetation and prune rights-of-way.Manual Labor: Load/unload heavy materials and operate hand tools and equipment.Equipment Care: Perform basic preventative maintenance on tools.Requirements:High school diploma or GED.Experience in street maintenance OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.A valid Texas Driver License.Make a visible difference in our community.......Apply Today!
