This Purchasing Agent / Buyer I role works closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure materials are ordered, tracked, and delivered on time while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.Required Experience & Skills 1 3 years of purchasing, supply chain, or manufacturing experience (preferred) Strong computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to analyze inventory usage and reorder points Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and problem-solving ability High School Diploma or equivalent requiredEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Purchasing Agent / Buyer I role includes: Review inventory levels and determine reorder points using ERP systems Create and manage purchase orders for materials and parts Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, and availability Request and evaluate vendor quotes for new and existing components Track orders and ensure on-time delivery of materials Expedite late orders and provide status updates to internal teams Identify and evaluate alternative suppliers when necessary Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams on material specifications and changes Review engineering change orders related to materials and procurement Manage purchasing of MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) suppliesPreferred Experience Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with supply chain processes and vendor managementPhysical Requirements Ability to work in an office or manufacturing support environment Occasional movement throughout facility as neededJob Order #124059Stand-By Personnel | Skilled DivisionOKC Office Location:3625 S Council Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73179If you are interested in this position, click the Apply button above to submit your application.
