Buffalo, NY | $23.00–$27.00 per Hour | Full-Time | Temporary Through End of 2026
Parallel Employment Group is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our client's team in Buffalo, NY. Position Details
- Location: Buffalo, NY (Hybrid)
- Pay: $23.00–$27.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM. Mondays and Fridays you will be working remotely.
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary through the end of 2026, with potential for extension based on business needs and performance
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily purchasing and procurement activities, including placing, tracking, and expediting purchase orders.
- Create and process purchase orders using ERP/MRP systems.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to ensure the timely delivery of materials and supplies.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, vendor files, and procurement reports.
- Research products, pricing, and suppliers to support purchasing decisions.
- Monitor order status and proactively resolve delays or supply issues.
- Reconcile purchasing discrepancies and assist with invoice and order resolution.
- Support inventory control and supply chain operations as needed.
- Ensure purchasing documentation is accurate and up to date.
Requirements
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination is helpful.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas/functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of accuracy when maintaining records, reports, and documentation.
