Px/General Manager - Multifamily Construction

Description

• Overseeing and directing operations within the Columbus office
• Directs and supervises work of project administration staff and construction engineers, as well as works in partnership with project superintendents to establish operational priorities
• Responsible for forecasting, tracking/reporting project costs/revenue and adherence to project estimates
• Responsible for problem resolution involving labor disputes, staffing, construction materials, construction equipment and contracts/subcontracts administration
• Coordinates with construction Safety Manager to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with established safety goals
• Work directly with owners and help bring on new business to grow the team

Profile

• 15+ years of experience in Construction Project Management or as a project executive
• Working knowledge of local skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical
• Have experience in multifamily and commercial construction projects
• Working knowledge of construction technology and details
• Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
• Bring Business Development Opportunities to the team
• Strong communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Good time management skills
