Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Python Developer - This position's primary responsibility is to work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. The chosen candidate will develop and maintain information technology plans which outline project status, individual tasks, milestones, completion estimates, and resource allocation and will contribute towards establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature team capability.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Salt Lake City, Utah / Dallas, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

At least 4 years of Information Technology Experience.
Experience in Developing Python applications using Django/Flask/FastAPI.
Experience working in data transformation/ETL and analytics using Pandas/NumPy, and visualization using Matplotlib/Plotly.
Design and implement REST/RESTful APIs for internal/external integrations.
Develop automation scripts/tools, support CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate on cloud architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 4 years of experience in Python development.
At least 4 years of experience in Django + REST framework; exposure to Flask/FastAPI
At least 3 years of experience in SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB).
At least 3 years of experience in Terraform (IaC) + AWS/Azure experience
At least 2 years of experience in Linux/bash scripting
At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle.
Experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
Experience in project scoping, estimation and scheduling
Knowledge of architectural frameworks and design principles
Basic domain knowledge in Capital Markets and Finance
Analytical skills
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
