QA Analyst - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a QA Analyst for a Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for designing and executing automated test scripts to validate the functionality and performance of trading and financial front office applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with front office users, developers, and QA teams to develop and maintain automated test cases for front office systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test cases for front office systems including trading platforms, order management systems, or market data feeds
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand requirements and testing priorities
• Engage in continual discussions with development teams to review stories planned, vet requirements of new features, and story point automation efforts
• Input test plans and scenarios into Xray and convert scenarios into automation
• Perform Impact Assessment of all business requirements and any changes
• Maintain applicable test artifacts (Test plan, test cases, test data automation scripting) per business requirements
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
• Ensure test coverage aligns with business processes and compliance requirements

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in application development or automation framework development using Python or Java
• 2 years of working knowledge and ability to develop test automation scripts for Front Office Capital Markets Sales and Trading applications
• Strong knowledge and coding experience in Python or Java to automate test cases for front office trade flow
• Strong hands-on experience in expanding frameworks and creating new automation scenarios programmatically
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG)
• Hands-on automation coding for Sales and Trading workflows with applications similar to Sophis, Murex, Summit, Numerix, ION or CRD
• Prior experience working as QE/SDET in agile/scrum teams
• Ability to understand complex trading flows between various internal and external applications
• Demonstrated ability to identify and report risks and issues

Desired skills:

• Strong working knowledge of Fixed Income and Derivatives Front Office Testing (Capital Markets)

Pay range: $63.92 - $73.92 per hour
