Job Description

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Business Systems Analyst position! This is a 15+ month contract opportunity. This is a hybrid role in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing:

Prepare functional specifications, test plans, and test case documentation.
Conduct research and analysis of moderately complex data to ensure functional accuracy.
Mentor junior staff and assist in application training and project methodology.
Facilitate project meetings and lead requirements gathering with business clients.
Translate business requirements into functional specs and liaise with the technology team.
Estimate timelines and deliverables for moderately complex to complex projects.
Act as test coordinator for large initiatives and participate in post-implementation reviews.
Coordinate with vendors and testing teams for implementation and UAT planning.
Ensure adherence to risk, compliance, and audit standards.
Monitor scope, timeline, and regulatory adherence throughout project lifecycle.

What You'll Need to Have:

Experience working in commercial banking
SIT and UAT test management/coordination experience, preferably with loan servicing systems
Ability to write business requirements and test scripts/cases
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Combined minimum of 5 years of higher education and/or business analytics experience
Strong time management, organizational, and analytical thinking skills
Experience preparing BRDs, test plans, and functional documentation
Proficiency with PC-based tools and relevant project management applications

Pay Range: $30-$39/hr
