Job Description
Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to support testing efforts across multiple development projects. This role is responsible for executing test strategies, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality software delivery that meets business and user expectations.Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual testing including functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using test management tools
- Perform ongoing regression testing across multiple applications and systems
- Support multi-phase testing efforts and ensure timely project delivery
- Maintain test documentation, traceability matrices, and testing results
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and results to stakeholders
- Assist in improving QA processes, standards, and best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Analyst or Manual Tester
- Experience in large enterprise or financial services environments preferred
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall)
- Hands-on experience writing and executing detailed test cases
- Experience with tools such as Jira, HP Quality Center/ALM, Xray, or similar
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with structured development environments (dev/test/production)
- Exposure to automated testing tools is a plus
- Experience testing web, mobile, API, and backend systems
