Job Title: QA Analyst ATM Technology / Tandem Systems
Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ- Hybrid
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in ATM Technology and Tandem Systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ATM transaction testing, Tandem/HP NonStop environments, payment switching systems, and end-to-end validation of ATM applications and interfaces.
The candidate will lead QA/testing activities for ATM and payment systems, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality delivery of mission-critical banking applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end testing activities for ATM applications and Tandem-based systems
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for ATM transaction processing systems
- Validate ATM transaction flows including:
- Cash Withdrawal
- Balance Inquiry
- Funds Transfer
- PIN Change
- Mini Statement
- Perform testing on HP Tandem / NonStop systems and ATM switch integrations
- Work with payment messaging protocols and transaction interfaces
- Coordinate SIT, UAT, regression, and production validation activities
- Analyze logs, transaction traces, and troubleshoot defects in ATM/payment applications
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, infrastructure, and vendor teams
- Ensure compliance with banking, payment, and security standards
- Prepare test reports, defect metrics, and status updates for stakeholders
- Support production releases and post-deployment validation
