Job Description

Dreamscape Learn, a pioneer in the realm of immersive virtual reality learning design, is seeking a QA Analyst who will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and functionality of our cutting-edge educational VR platform. He will develop and execute comprehensive test cases, perform hands-on manual testing of VR applications built in Unity, and validate internal tools and automation for seamless integration.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of QA processes, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team driving the future of virtual reality.

This is a temporary backfill intended to provide coverage while an employee is on a leave of absence.

Role Responsiblities

Analyze user stories and requirements to develop detailed test cases.
Perform manual testing of VR applications developed in Unity.
Test in-house tools and automation to ensure they function correctly and integrate seamlessly with our VR platform.
Document and track defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Validate bug fixes and ensures the overall quality of the product.
Collaborate with developers, designers, and product owners to ensure alignment of quality objectives.
Ensure the application functions as intended from a user perspective.
Provide detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA.

Requirements

·Minimum of 4 years of experience in QA analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Experience testing in-house tools and automation.
Experience with the Atlassian suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Skills

Experience with VR technology and Unity XR plugins.
Understanding of user experience principles in VR environments.
Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
Certification in QA (e.g., ISTQB).
