Description:Position Title QA Analyst III Location: Onsite at MPK - hybrid 3 days (specific days in the office are subject to change)Contract Duration: 09 Months with Possible ExtensionPay Range: $65-$70 per hour on W2
As an QA Contractor, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality by executing and improving test processes, collaborating with engineering and QA leads, and supporting the delivery of high-quality features. This role is designed for individuals who can operate independently, contribute to test strategy, and take ownership of execution within defined scopes.ResponsibilitiesExecute manual and automated test cases for new and existing features.Reproduce, document, and triage bugs; work closely with engineering to drive resolution.Write and maintain clear, comprehensive test cases and test plans.Support QA leads in driving test strategy and test plan creation.Create and maintain dashboards to track quality metrics and test progress.Conduct Product Audits with QA leads' guidance to analyze/improve QA test coverage.Conduct Bug Audits with QA leads' guidance to analyse/identify product areas that need improvement.Provide Release readiness support for Medium/small size features.Lead test execution for small to medium-sized projects or features.Attend status meetings and represent QA in the absence of QA leads.Work onsite as needed to collaborate directly with engineering and QA teams, ensuring product rigor.Support stealth projects which require a higher level of diligence in execution.Run and lead innovative testing techniques like benchmarking testing, battery testing,
Qualifications5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field. UI + API test automation (API automation required)Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience writing and executing test cases and test plans.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.Experience with dashboarding tools and quality metrics is a plus.Comfortable working onsite and engaging directly with cross-functional teams.Expertise in with python, javascript, SQL
Must Have
- Manual + automation QA (technical; can read/debug code)
- UI + API test automation (API automation required)
- AI feature testing (non-deterministic outputs) + adaptability
Nice to Have
- Social app / consumer app QA experience (feeds, sharing, creation flows)
- Comfort coordinating with offshore/global teams (flexible hours/collab)
- Dashboarding / quality metrics experience
