QA Analyst L2 (Website Compliance)

Job Title: IT QA Analyst Website Compliance Location: Torrance, CA Work Model: Onsite Compensation: $110-115k 3rd Party Suppliers: Not accepting 3rd party suppliers for this role Work Type: Onsite (4 days/week) Travel: Less than 5% Overtime: No POSITION OVERVIEW " Develop and execute test plans and test cases to validate privacy requirements (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, GDPR) " Ensure systems and processes meet regulatory obligations and internal privacy standards " Validate consent management, data subject rights, and data handling workflows " Design comprehensive QA strategies for privacy-related systems and initiatives " Perform functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support " Identify, document, and track defects through resolution " Create clear, concise test plans, test cases, defect reports, and QA documentation for privacy compliance initiatives " Identify and maintain QA deliverables including test strategies, traceability matrices, and compliance validation reports " Provide detailed reporting on test results, defects, and compliance status " Ensure end-to-end traceability between privacy requirements, test cases, and results " Validate that all regulatory and business requirements are adequately tested and met " Validate data accuracy, integrity, and proper handling of personal and sensitive data " Participate in requirements reviews to ensure testability and completeness " Communicate test results, risks, and issues to stakeholders " Identify privacy compliance risks and gaps during testing " Escalate critical issues and recommend mitigation strategies " Support audit readiness by providing QA evidence and documentation " Recommend improvements to QA processes, tools, and methodologies " Promote best practices in privacy compliance testing and quality assurance " Support automation opportunities for repeatable compliance testing WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IT QA Analyst Website Compliance The QA Analyst (QA) is responsible for validating that systems, processes, and controls meet data privacy regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role partners with Privacy, Legal, Compliance, IT, and business teams to ensure privacy-by-design is implemented and maintained. The QA Analyst develops and executes test strategies, identifies compliance gaps, and ensures that privacy-related solutions are delivered with high quality and regulatory adherence. WHAT S NEEDED Required Qualifications: " IS related bachelor s degree and/or equivalent work experience. " 3 6+ years of experience in QA, testing, or compliance-related roles (5 8+ for senior level) " Experience with software testing methodologies and QA lifecycle " Understanding of compliance regulations (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, AADC, ADA, etc.) " Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills: " Experience testing privacy or compliance-related systems (e.g., consent management, etc.) " Familiarity with QA tools " Knowledge of data governance, risk, or security practices " Experience with SQL or data validation techniques " Exposure to privacy tools (e.g., OneTrust or similar products) Key Competencies: " Strong attention to detail and analytical skills " Knowledge of QA methodologies and testing frameworks " Understanding of data privacy principles and regulations " Excellent documentation and communication skills " Problem-solving and risk identification mindset " Ability to work in cross-functional, fast-paced environments COMPENSATION & BENEFITS " Medical, dental, and vision insurance " 401(k) " Other standard benefits as applicable ABOUT UNICON UNICON is a workforce solutions provider with over 35 years of experience supporting organizations across a variety of industries.
