Request ID: 67703-1 Title: QA Mortgage TesterLocations: San Antonio, TX 78221 100% onsite including day 1 Duration: 6 MonthsRate Range: $34 - $43/Hour on W2 (All inclusive)Note: Applicants must be willing to work on w2 Job Description: As a Senior Quality Engineer (Automation & Functional) at Frost, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of complex software systems by combining strong test automation expertise with functional testing requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing plans, execute functional testing and build automation scripts using Playwright automation framework, and drive quality improvements across multiple applications.Key Responsibilities: Define test strategies, test plans, and risk assessments for complex system or program changes. Write and execute functional and automation test cases, including preparation of required test data. Design, build, review, and deploy test automation solutions for complex and interrelated systems. Perform test execution, validation, and defect analysis to identify issues and work with development teams for resolution. Lead troubleshooting and triage of complex system issues, identify root causes, and recommend process improvements. Collaborate with product management, project management, development teams, and business stakeholders to define testing objectives. Track and report defect metrics, automation coverage, and testing progress. Ensure quality assurance practices align with software development lifecycle and Frost standards.Required Qualifications: Experience with Client Power platform technologies. Hands-on experience with functional, API, regression, and automation testing. Strong knowledge of test planning, execution, requirements traceability, and defect management. Ability to identify technical issues, misconfigurations, and defects independently. Experience collaborating across multiple development teams.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Playwright automation testing. Experience in the financial/banking industry.
