Position Description

The QA / Test Engineer to support the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM). This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of system changes through structured testing processes in a mission-critical Oracle EBS environment.

The QA/Test Engineer will support EXIM activities by validating system changes, supporting Agile release cycles, and ensuring that all enhancements and fixes meet functional and compliance requirements prior to production deployment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
8+ years of experience in software testing or QA roles
Experience with test case development, execution, and defect tracking
Familiarity with testing in an Agile or release-based environment
Software testing and quality assurance
Test case development and execution
Defect tracking and documentation
Attention to detail and analytical thinking
Experience with Oracle EBS or financial systems
Familiarity with test management or defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
Experience supporting federal or regulated environments

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test cases for system enhancements and defect fixes
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
Validate change requests (CRs) prior to deployment
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
Track, document, and help resolve defects
Maintain test documentation and record test results
Validate releases and support post-release reviews
