Request ID: 105602-1Title: QA Automation Engineer (Playwright / AI Exposure)Locations: Phoenix, AZDuration: 6+ MonthsPay Range: $45.00 - $48/Hour on W2/ C2C (All inclusive)Experience: 07+ Years We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for modern web applications, APIs, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will also have exposure to AI-assisted testing and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.
  • Create and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites.
  • Develop automated testing strategies for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
  • Perform load and performance testing using JMeter.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and architects throughout the SDLC.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and quality gates.
  • Explore and leverage AI-assisted testing tools and practices to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Troubleshoot automation failures and continuously improve test frameworks and processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in QA and Test Automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
  • Experience testing web applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or similar programming languages.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing in modern DevOps environments.
  • Experience with API testing tools and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries.
  • Exposure to AI technologies, AI-assisted software development, or AI-driven test automation.
  • Experience with JMeter and performance/load testing.
  • Experience with TestComplete or similar automated testing tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments and modern application architectures.
