Job Description
Position: QA Automation Engineer Location: NYC or Remote Experience: 8+ Years Employment Type: Contract / C2H Job Description Summary Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automation frameworks for web and mobile applications using Java and Selenium. Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure CI/CD integration and "Push-on-Green" release quality. Execute testing in Agile environments, ensuring coverage and quality across sprints. Perform root cause analysis for complex bugs and drive continuous improvement in test automation practices. Mentor junior QA team members and enforce automation best practices. Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roles. 5+ years of strong programming experience in Java-based automation. Hands-on expertise with Selenium, TestNG, and experience with Appium (preferred). Experience with Agile methodologies and working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines. Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Solid exposure to mobile and web application testing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to work independently and guide teams on automation strategies. Mandatory Skills Selenium Java TestNG / Appium (Plus) Agile / CI-CD Testing
