We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our GetInsured team. GetInsured is the leading provider for state-based marketplace technology with more experience than any technology provider transitioning states off healthcare.gov and implementing exchanges. We are dedicated to helping as many Americans as possible easily find and enroll in affordable health insurance.

Your responsibilities will include:

Execute manual and automated test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing
Validate backend data using PostgreSQL and SQL queries
Test APIs and backend services using tools such as Postman
Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, and verify fixes
Assist in planning test efforts to support delivery timelines
Analyze test results and report quality risks to the team
Review requirements and basic technical documentation for testability and completeness
Perform testing in production-like environments to validate release readiness
Use UNIX/Linux commands to review logs and assist with debugging issues
Contribute to improving test coverage and testing processes over time
Create and maintain basic automation scripts as needed
