This position is responsible for coordinating day-to-day testing activities and supporting technical test execution efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with software testing methodologies and be capable of selecting appropriate testing strategies based on scope, schedule, and budget.This role requires the ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and scripts while identifying process improvement opportunities within the QA/QC framework. The SQA Engineer will also contribute to test automation initiatives and leverage CI tools to generate consistent automated test reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware Testing & QA ExecutionConduct manual testing using documented test scriptsDevelop detailed test cases, test plans, and test proceduresExecute ad-hoc, functional, stress, and acceptance testingIdentify negative, boundary, and edge-case scenariosDocument defects and enhancements within bug-tracking toolsCompile and publish Software Test ReportsParticipate in technical reviews of specifications and prototypesReview requirements and develop validation strategiesAutomation & CI/CD SupportDevelop and maintain automated test scriptsExecute automated tests and troubleshoot automation failuresUtilize CI tools to generate automated test reportingPerform stress and performance testing using automation toolsCollaboration & Process ImprovementMonitor QA requests and assign tasks to testers to ensure timely completionDevelop effort estimates for testing activitiesRecommend improvements to QA/QC processesSupport design, development, and cross-functional teamsMentor and train junior QA staff (up to 3 team members)Manage subsets or complete test efforts end-to-endRequired Qualifications6–10 years of experience in software testingStrong understanding of QA/QC methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC)Experience managing full-cycle testing initiativesAbility to work independently and within a team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsExceptional attention to detailWillingness to travel as neededTechnical SkillsSelenium WebDriverJava (working knowledge)JiraSQLProtractorJavaScript / TypeScriptCucumberJenkinsEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field(Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.)Interested in hearing more?
