Job Description

Quality Engineer (Direct Hire)Heber Springs, ARSalary: $60,000 - $75,000/yearA manufacturing facility in Heber Springs is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join its team. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong manufacturing quality background and experience working with customers, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.Requirements for the Quality Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
Experience in manufacturing quality and customer-facing roles
Knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, Control Plans)
Experience with 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and 5-Why problem solving
Understanding of ISO/IATF 16949 standards
Strong Microsoft Office skills

Quality Engineer Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for customer quality concerns
Lead investigations and corrective actions
Support PPAP submissions and process changes
Monitor quality metrics and customer scorecards
Analyze SPC data and drive process improvements
Support product launches and new product development
Maintain quality documentation and compliance records
Participate in audits and continuous improvement activities
