Job Title: QA Engineer Automated 3

Location(s): Austin, TXJob Summary We are seeking a QA Engineer Automated 3 with 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and automated testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing automated tests, developing test plans and execution strategies, and performing functional, application, and regression testing.

Job Responsibilities

• Design automated tests by creating scripts that execute testing functions automatically.
• Determine priorities for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement them.
• Create and maintain documentation for automated testing processes.
• Develop test plans and test cases.
• Prepare and maintain test environments.
• Perform moderately complex functional, application, and regression testing.
• Interpret requirements documents and update test documentation accordingly.
• Perform analysis, planning, and management reporting activities.
• Work closely with technical and non-technical teams throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders as needed during test cycles.
• Acquire and apply knowledge of the business area supported.
• Manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing automated tests using scripts that execute testing functions automatically.
• 8+ years of experience prioritizing test scenarios and creating execution plans.
• 8+ years of experience creating test plans, test cases, and preparing test environments.
• 8+ years of experience performing functional, application, and regression testing.
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software development methodologies.
• Ability to interpret requirements documents and update test documentation accordingly.
• Strong familiarity with analysis, planning, and management reporting functions.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with stakeholders as needed during testing cycles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work successfully with both technical and non-technical groups.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing healthcare applications.
• Experience with Katalon software.
• Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates.
• Familiarity with information architecture and information management methodologies.
• Familiarity with existing and planned software technologies.
• Understanding of global, regional, and local software architecture and infrastructure components.
