QA Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive QA Night Lead to support our commitment to delivering high quality products. In this role, you will oversee nightly quality assurance activities, perform routine inspections, and act as the primary on the floor quality representative. You will serve as the first point of escalation for quality concerns and provide guidance to QA technicians throughout the shift. This position reports directly to the Quality Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate QA team members to ensure consistent and thorough inspection practices.
Assign daily tasks and priorities based on production schedules and quality objectives.
Monitor quality checkpoints across production lines to ensure compliance with specifications.
Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to verify products meet established standards.
Identify, document, and communicate non conformances and deviations.
Escalate significant quality issues to the Quality Supervisor and assist in developing resolution strategies.
Train, mentor, and support QA technicians to ensure proper application of quality procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
Ensure production processes comply with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Participate in internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve quality issues efficiently.

Qualifications

Previous experience in quality assurance or manufacturing preferred
Leadership or team lead experience a plus
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Excellent communication and documentation skills

Shift

2nd Shift- Monday-Friday 4 pm to 12:30 am
