QA Manager

Quality Assurance Manager | Food Manufacturing | Southern Indiana | $125k | They will relocate!

Gpac is working with a well-established RTE food manufacturer that is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager, Southern Indiana.  They will relocate!

Ready to Eat experience is required!

Responsibilities:

• Implement QA policies, procedures, and directives to ensure compliance with company, customer, and government expectations, providing feedback and follow-up for corrective action.
• Participate in customer audits and annual SQF audits as needed.
• Conduct pre-shipment reviews, CCPs, validation studies, and report deficiencies for GMPs, HACCP, and SSOPs.
• Direct inspection and sampling activities to maintain continuous control over materials, facilities, and products, including specification inspections, temperature, and weight checks.
• Identify and resolve problems promptly; skillfully gather and analyze information; develop alternative solutions; and work well in group problem-solving situations.
• Collaborate with the Plant Manager and Sanitation Manager to ensure proper housekeeping and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and grounds.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Computer skills, analytical equipment and food-processing equipment.
• Knowledge of quality control processes related to the food-processing industry.
• Knowledge of quality process control and HACCP, SSOP and SOP.
• Knowledge of USDA and FDA standards.
• Self-starter, motivator, goal-oriented and a strategic thinker.
• Good organizational and communication skills both verbally and written.
