Build your future by stepping into a hands-on role that protects quality and operational readiness during high-stakes data center construction projects. In this QA/QC Field Engineer opportunity, you’ll serve as the operations team’s on-site representative, partnering with engineering and commissioning teams to ensure every detail meets design specifications before facility turnover.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this QA/QC Field Engineer position include:

  • Experience implementing QA/QC standards and quality management systems across construction project lifecycles.
  • Implement and uphold QA/QC standards using standardized checklists and acceptance criteria to verify work meets design specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and quality walkdowns, participating in construction site reviews to identify issues or deviations across all disciplines with emphasis on mission-critical MEP systems.
  • Monitor construction activities for compliance with plans, specifications, and drawings, performing quality control inspections of materials and workmanship.
  • Identify and report safety hazards or discrepancies, ensuring adherence to safe work practices and procedures.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including data center design engineers, project delivery managers, commissioning teams, contractors, and subcontractors to align facility construction with operational requirements and best practices.
  • Review data center MEP designs and discipline plans for new builds and fit-outs, providing operations perspective to improve maintainability and reliability.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation including daily progress reports, inspection records, test results, and as-built drawings, and verify installation process quality (labeling, sizes, torque, components, and location).

Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
