QA/QC Program Manager Mid-Level $120,000 A YearSenior-Level $140,000 A YearJoin SAVARD Personnel Group - where your skills are valued!Key Requirements:Must have:ASME Code fabrication or repair environmentMarine or industrial pressure systemsDemonstrated experience maintaining ASME U, R, or S Stamps. Strong working knowledge of: ASME Section I, VIII, IX NBIC requirementsHands-on welding background strongly preferred.
- Responsible for maintaining compliance with ASME Section, I, Viii, and IX, and the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC).
- Serve as the designated Quality Control Manager (QCM) for ASMEcertification.
- Maintain and administer the company’s ASME Quality Control Manual.
- Ensure continued compliance with:
- ASME Section I (Power Boilers)
- ASME Section VIII (Pressure Vessels)
- Coordinate and lead:
- ASME Joint Reviews
- National Board audits
- Authorized Inspector (AI) interface
- Review and approve Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
- Oversee development and qualification of Procedure Qualification Records (PQRs)
- Ensure welder performance qualifications (WPQ) remain current.
- Interpret metallurgical requirements for:
- Carbon steel, Low alloy steels, Stainless Steels, and Marine and Industrial alloys
- Supervise or perform QA review of: PT (Liquid Penetrant Testing), MT (Magnetic Particle Testing), UT (Ultrasonic Testing) – coordinationRT (Radiography) – coordination.
