Request ID: 67679-1Title: QA Salesforce & Automation LeadLocations: Plano, TX. 75023Duration: 6+ Months with Possible Extension.Salary Range: $35- $40/Hour on W2 Only (All inclusive) Applicant must be willing to work on W2.Job Overview We are looking for an experienced QA Salesforce & Automation Lead to join our team and manage end-to-end testing activities for a Salesforce-based application. This role requires strong expertise in Salesforce application testing and automation testing, along with hands-on experience in implementing automation frameworks, managing CI/CD pipelines, and integrating automated tests into continuous delivery processes. The ideal candidate will lead a team of QA professionals while ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the QA Team: Manage and guide the QA team to deliver high-quality software through robust testing methodologies.
- Define Test Strategy & Plans: Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and approaches for functional, regression, integration, and automation testing.
- Automation Testing: Implement and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, WebdriverIO, Cypress, and Playwright to enhance testing efficiency.
- Salesforce Application Testing: Perform in-depth testing of Salesforce applications, ensuring that all functional and technical requirements are met.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps to streamline testing and deployment processes.
- Defect Tracking & Reporting: Manage defect tracking, resolution, and reporting using tools like JIRA and qTest. Maintain detailed documentation for test cases, defects, and testing progress.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure quality delivery throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Metrics and Reporting: Provide regular test metrics, status reports, and quality insights to stakeholders, offering a clear picture of the testing progress and quality status.
- Automation Testing Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in automation testing using tools such as Selenium, WebdriverIO, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Salesforce Application Testing: Deep knowledge and experience in testing Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud and other Salesforce features.
- Programming Languages: Proficient in programming languages such as Java and JavaScript.
- API Testing: Strong experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- CI/CD: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly with tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
- Cloud Testing Platforms: Experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as Sauce Labs and BrowserStack.
- Defect Management Tools: Expertise in defect tracking and management tools such as JIRA and qTest.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience working in domains such as Insurance, Banking, or CRM, with knowledge of their respective QA processes and methodologies.
- TestComplete: Experience with TestComplete for automated testing.
- Team Leadership: Experience in leading and mentoring QA teams, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and quality standards.
- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- 8-10 years of experience in QA Testing with a strong emphasis on Salesforce applications and Automation Testing.
- Proven experience in leading testing teams and managing test activities from planning to execution.
- This is an onsite role based in Plano, TX.
