Job Description

QA TESTER ARKANSAS Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, evolve, and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both functional and non-functional testing.

  • Perform thorough testing and debugging of new and existing application software.

  • Design, execute, and automate API testing utilizing XUnit and manual testing via Postman.

  • Extend existing test automation frameworks to incorporate new functionalities and ensure high reliability and relevancy.

  • Collaborate with development and platform teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Identify, report, track, and prioritize software defects to ensure timely resolutions.

  • Deconstruct technical solutions into targeted tests that optimize for maximum coverage and risk mitigation.

  • Continuously refine testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality and engineering efficiency.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and test automation.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

  • Experience: Proven professional experience working as a Quality Engineer, SDET, or similar role.

Technical Skills & Core Competencies

  • Programming Languages: C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML.

  • Test Automation & UI: End-to-end functional UI automation using Playwright.

  • API & Frameworks: API testing and automation (.NET, C#, XUnit) and manual API testing (Postman). .NET unit testing frameworks.

  • Frontend Testing: React framework testing concepts using React Testing Library and Jest (or similar tools).

  • Accessibility Testing: Andi, Axe DevTools, or similar accessibility testing utilities.

  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Testing cloud-native applications on AWS, with specific knowledge of AWS services including AWS Lambda.

  • Databases: Relational database systems, specifically PostgreSQL.

  • Version Control: Git or similar modern version control systems.
