Qhse Data Specialist

SUMMARY:

The QHSE Data Specialist supports implementation of Motion's Industries, Quality, Health, Safety & environment initiatives by monitoring, evaluating, calculating, and tracking QHSE and corporate responsibility measures within our systems while supporting our internal and external customers through administrative tasks.

JOB DUTIES

• Assists with data collection, management, analysis, quality assurance & verification.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders regarding data requirements.
• Creates standard reporting and reporting dashboards on a variety of sustainability metrics.
• Assists with program analysis and recommendations for sustainability programs, pilot expansions, and improvements.
• Supports creation of annual sustainability report and carbon disclosure program.
• Compiles retail peer environmental benchmarking data including metrics, emissions reduction efforts and sustainability disclosures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Typically requires a bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Sustainability or related field.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Ability to connect data and create visualizations utilizing SQL, Qlik, Tableau, Power BI or other related programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to build effective relationships and interact with a variety of individuals and departments.
• Strong project management skills, including time management, taking initiative, and meeting deadlines.
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
