Quality and Food Safety Technician Urgently hiring in Cypress!Job Title: Quality and Food Safety TechnicianPay: $20-21/hrHours: Monday - Friday, 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM (Saturdays as needed)Start Date: ASAPLooking for a rewarding career in food safety and quality assurance? Join a dedicated team committed to excellence in Cypress and make a positive impact every day.As a Quality and Food Safety Technician, youll play a vital role in maintaining the integrity, safety, and presentation of our products. Working closely with the quality assurance team, youll ensure all standards are met and that production processes adhere to strict safety protocols.What Youll DoAs a Quality and Food Safety Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and programming critical control points (CCP) to ensure product safety*
- Performing sanitation verification and allergen testing on equipment and facilities*
- Accurately recording and filing all relevant documentation and logs*
- Ensuring recipes and product specifications are followed during manufacturing*
- Educating employees on food safety practices and SQF standards*
- Conducting plant safety audits to identify hazards and areas for improvement
- Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills*
- Strong understanding of HACCP, GMPs, and SOPs*
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently*
- Teamwork skills and responsiveness*
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)*
- Ability to perform heavy work up to 50 pounds occasionally*
- High School Diploma or GED; additional education or experience in related fields a plus*
- 1-2 years of experience in food processing or manufacturing environment
