JOB SUMMARY

HealthRIGHT 360, a nonprofit organization and a family of programs, is committed to providing accessible and comprehensive healthcare services to vulnerable populations. Our mission is to tackle systemic barriers to healthcare and promote health equity for all. We offer a wide range of services, including mental health care, residential and outpatient substance use treatment, and primary health services. Additionally, we provide transitional support for individuals re-entering the community after involvement in the criminal justice system. By integrating physical and behavioral health, we empower individuals to overcome challenges by addressing social determinants of health, fostering resilience, and facilitating recovery.

Within this mission, the Quality Improvement Department plays a central role in strengthening the effectiveness, safety, and consistency of care across all programs. The department partners with teams across HealthRIGHT 360 to monitor outcomes, ensure compliance with regulatory and funder requirements, and identify opportunities to improve and streamline care delivery. Through data-informed practices and continuous quality improvement, the team fosters a culture of accountability, learning, and excellence.

As California's behavioral health landscape grows more complex and outcomes-driven, the Quality & Safety Specialist plays a key role in advancing high-reliability care across services. Partnering with Quality Improvement leadership, this role supports performance improvement, compliance, and safety initiatives by monitoring KPIs, identifying risks, and coordinating process improvements. Through cross-functional collaboration and clear reporting, the Specialist helps align programs with organizational goals while strengthening care quality and safety.

Reliable transportation is required, as occasional travel between program sites or facilities may be necessary depending on project needs.
