Job Description
We are looking for a Quality Assurance and Safety Tech to join our team in Carrollton TX. This role will be essential in ensuring our warehouse operations meet top safety and compliance standards, working hands-on with inspections, records and sanitation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine warehouse inspections to ensure compliance with FDA and internal safety standards
- Monitor and log temperature controls for products
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, compliance reports, and safety records
- Assist in implementing/updating safety or quality policies as required
- Support janitorial tasks, including cleaning and sanitation, as needed to uphold a safe environment
Qualifications:
- Ability to travel to headquarters in San Antonio for periodic training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus, but not mandatory
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and follow our safety and quality processes
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel and crouch for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment and be exposed to a variety of loud noises and variations in temperature
- Requires regular and reliable attendance to meet operation needs
Schedule, Pay and Benefits:
- Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm schedule
- $21/hr
- Paid weekly
- Company paid Life/AD&D, short term disability and 401k employer match
- Paid Time off after 60 days
