We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team in Parsippany, NJ. Job Overview

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in inspecting machined workpieces to ensure they meet strict specifications. You'll use precision instruments and follow detailed instructions to guarantee product quality. This is a full-time, contract position with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 am- 4 pm.

Responsibilities

Inspect machined workpieces for conformance to specifications.
Interpret and follow written inspection instructions and customer specifications.
Measure dimensions using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and X-ray equipment.
Complete inspection forms and reports.
Perform airflow tests, incoming, and final inspections.
Carry out other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Willingness to work occasional weekend shifts and overtime as required.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment.
Must be a U.S. Person due to technical data export restrictions.

Preferences

Experience in manufacturing is preferred.
Strong reading comprehension and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Experience with computerized shop floor tools.
Demonstrates a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and self-motivation.
Strong team player with flexibility to move to different areas as needed.
