Position Summary
This position is for a Quality Inspector at our Lancaster, PA facility. The Quality Inspector works closely with Operations and Product Development teams to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections supporting commercial and government programs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials and components
- Perform in-process and final inspections on manufactured products
- Ensure materials and products meet quality standards in accordance with company policy and ISO9001/AS9100 procedures
- Identify and segregate nonconforming material and generate nonconformance reports
- Support Supplier Quality initiatives
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Proficiency with basic inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Basic math skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
- Authorized to work in the U.S.; U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Individual preferred due to ITAR responsibilities
- Experience with ERP systems
