  • Inspect, test, and measure physical and chemical properties of products against specifications. Perform regular calibration and verification of laboratory equipment.
  • Support and adhere to quality management systems, employee safety, preventive maintenance programs, and regulatory legality.
  • Perform internal and external plant audits to identify non-conformances and set up quality assurance systems for proper certification.
  • Work alongside production and plant supervisors to coordinate activities, resolve efficiency issues, and prevent quality deviations.
  • Consult with Corporate FSQA leadership to resolve complex quality, production, and operational challenges.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
  • 2 to 5 years of proven Quality Management experience within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in HACCP, GMPs, SOPs, and sanitation protocols. Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and practical math skills (algebra, statistics).
  • Exceptional written and oral communication, high attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work efficiently under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

  • Working conditions may include hot/humid environments (exceeding 80°F).
  • Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) includes hearing protection, hairnets/beard nets, and task-specific eye protection.
