Job Description

Job SummaryWe're looking for a Quality Technician to support quality assurance activities by maintaining quality records, assisting with inspections and compliance efforts, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. In this role, you will partner with Quality Engineers, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production teams to ensure products meet customer, engineering, regulatory, and internal quality requirements while supporting compliance with AS9100 and aerospace quality standards.

Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday 7:30a-4:00p

What You'll Be Doing

Support Quality Engineers with quality documentation, including concessions, deviation requests, first piece approvals, process qualifications, and customer-required submissionsReview engineering drawings, specifications, and quality documents for accuracy and complianceMaintain quality records in accordance with company, customer, and regulatory requirementsAssist with the development and revision of work instructions, inspection plans, procedures, and quality system documentationSupport internal audits and compliance assessmentsDocument and track nonconformances, corrective actions, and preventive actionsCollect, analyze, and report quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesVerify manufacturing and quality documentation prior to product shipmentPartner with production teams to communicate quality requirements and resolve documentation issuesMaintain calibration records and support document control activitiesAssist with customer, supplier, regulatory, and certification audit preparationUtilize ERP, quality management, and document control systems to maintain accurate records and traceabilityParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and defect reductionFollow all company safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or GEDMinimum one (1) year of experience in manufacturing, quality, inspection, or a related technical environmentBasic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality documentationAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, quality records, and customer requirementsProficient verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and documentation accuracyAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teamsBasic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications

Nice to Have

Associate degree or technical certification in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or a related fieldOne to three (1-3) years of quality experience in aerospace, machining, casting, or manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management systemsExperience with nonconformance reporting, corrective actions, and root cause investigationsExperience with ERP, quality management, or document control systemsKnowledge of aerospace quality requirements and regulatory standards

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Work is performed in a manufacturing and office environmentRegular interaction with production, inspection, and engineering teams on the shop floorMust be able to stand, walk, sit, and use a computer for extended periodsMay be required to lift and carry materials, files, or equipment consistent with the positionFrequent use of standard office equipment and manufacturing inspection toolsMust be able to wear required PPE when working in production areasMay be exposed to noise, heat, moving equipment, and other typical manufacturing conditionsAbility to visually inspect documents, components, and quality records with a high level of accuracy
