Job Title: Quality Assurance TechnicianLocation: Hastings, NE 68902Pay: $21.50 $27.50 per hour (based on education and experience)Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday Friday | 3: 15 p.M. 11: 45 p.M.Build Quality. Protect Standards. Make an Impact.We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our client's 2nd shift team in Hastings. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and precision of die-cast aluminum parts throughout every stage of production. If you enjoy working with data, blueprints, precision tools, and continuous improvement processes, this opportunity offers both challenge and long-term stability.What You ll Do
- Monitor and maintain quality standards across all stages of the manufacturing process
- Test and inspect die-cast aluminum parts for compliance with specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to verify dimensions
- Identify defects and recommend process adjustments
- Utilize precision gauging tools and measurement techniques
- Conduct internal QMS, gauge, and process audits
- Interpret inspection data and document findings accurately
- Collaborate with production teams to support quality improvements
- One-year certificate from a college or technical school OR 1 3 years of related experience
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collect and analyze data
- Experience operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is preferred but not required
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
