Job Description
As a Quality Assurance Tester you will test products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.
Currently there is an opening for a Quality Assurance Tester in our Aramid division on 2nd shift (Monday - Friday 2:30PM to 10:30PM.)

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare samples for testing.
Visually and dimensionally inspect cores.
Perform test procedures determined by company and customer specifications including compression, shear, and node delamination.
Accurately record all test results and SPC data.
Maintain records and samples according to procedures, ensuring accurate, detailed results and retained samples for future reference.
Complete necessary quality assurance forms to ensure control of accepted and rejected products tested including reject tags, DMN and certifications.
Test and fill salt fog chamber on a weekly basis.
Fabricate shear test fixtures; clean fixture, plates and cut adhesive.
Qualify core material to customer acceptance standards.
Schedule work in conjunction with manufacturing and sales to ensure product is inspected in timely fashion.
Take care of core department scrap.
Assist in inspection of outgoing materials when needed.
Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery.
Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment and methods.
Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Continually looks for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
Performs all reasonably related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to work overtime.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
