What You'll Do

The Quality & Government Compliance Specialist is a quality representative responsible for ensuring all administrative tasks within the government program are complete to ensure that the site maintains compliance. This person will be the main point of contact for document control with the government program. This person will also serve as the Facilities Security Officer. The Quality & Government Compliance Specialist will report to the Program Director.

Coordinate yearly audit schedule and ensure requirements are metMaintain all audit records, including relevant notes and reportsCoordinate and complete audits, backshift and quality, communicating the resultsTrack Corrective Action Requests and Preventative Action Requests (CAR/PARs) to ensure the team appropriately responds to issuesTrend CAR/PAR findings to proactively spot weaknesses and address the problemMaintain document control system for the government program, including issuing new and revised records to all affected employeesWork with employees to update procedures and documentationDevelop and maintain the document control program for the NFNY business unitServe as Facilities Security Officer for the site and communicate updates to the security planSubmit clearance approval documents for incoming program employees as needed.Provide administration support to the Program Director

What You'll Need

To be successful in this position, you must:

Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field or related curriculum, preferred3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a quality system (ISO9001, Nadcap, NQA-1, or similar)Detail-oriented mindset to ensure timely filings are maintained and documents remain organized and up to dateAbility to work with minimal direction and oversightHave excellent written and verbal communication skillsBe a US Citizen willing and able to obtain government security clearance

Washington Mills aims to deliver a comprehensive compensation package. The compensation provided is the national pay range for this position of $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year depending on experience. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
