Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities are capable of receiving, storing, processing and dispatching cargo, so we can build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain process. All MGF ISO related activities are being migrated from MCL to Operational Excellence - Standardization. Position is required to maintain all current ISO Certifications as well as expand facility certification across the network
Develop, implement, and maintain of a corporate-wide QMS including oversight of regional quality performance.
- Support Operation Site management in ISO 9001 compliance, e.g. training, SOP creation, management review, internal and external audits, and sharing of best practices.
- Be a resource for quality related issues.
- Maintain and improve Maersk Quality Management System (QMS).
- Manage and oversee Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), work with leaders to understand impact and cost of poor quality, and the benefit of developing a culture of prevention.
- Manage new and renewals of applicable regulatory certifications
- Apply audit skills, prepare for and run audits, and conduct conformity evaluations.
- Act as a change agent to develop and implement a systematic approach to continuous and sustainable improvement.
- Together with the local sites' leadership team, analyses the 'as is' in terms of customer satisfaction, process standardization and execution, functional organization, wastes and inefficiencies etc. Identify current process and/or gaps and propose solutions to improve outcomes.
- Lead workshops, training meetings with sites teams regarding Risk Mitigation, CAPA, SOPs, training, and other QMS related subjects.
- Act as a true ambassador for Operational Excellence and how to deliver a better service to our customers at a lower cost.
- Build and maintain SharePoint sites for QMS.
- Build automated workflows and data mesh.
- Collaborate with Building Directors on Success Stories and Opportunities in Quality KPI Objectives, Star Board Balanced Scorecard.
Professional stream includes those who are individual contributors with main emphasis on applying technical/discipline knowledge rather than managing people to achieve results - although coaching/mentoring less experienced staff, informal supervisory responsibilities, or overseeing work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and program are common.

A colleague at this level handles most situations independently, receives minimal guidance, but will seek advice, guidance and support on more complex or non-routine topics.
The colleague understands the overall nature of the business and the interdependencies between own and other functions.
Leaders at this level are accountable for performance and results in teams of less experienced professionals, frontline workers and admins, and will adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.

Pay Range:
$110K-118K annual
- The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
