Job Description

Job Position: Quality Control

Location: Claremore, OK 74017

Pay Rate: $19.50/hr

Shift: 6: 00am

Order # 126048

Standby Personnel is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector. This position is responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards, customer specifications, and industry requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, experience using measuring tools, and a commitment to maintaining product quality and continuous improvement.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesInspect incoming materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools and equipment.Interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials or products.Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections.Verify product measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, tape measures, and other inspection tools.Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions when defects are identified.Ensure compliance with company quality policies, procedures, and safety regulations.Maintain a clean and organized work area.

QualificationsPrevious quality control, quality assurance, manufacturing, or inspection experience preferred.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain quality documentation.Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Preferred QualificationsManufacturing or fabrication industry experience.Knowledge of ISO standards and quality systems.Experience with welding, machining, or metal fabrication inspections.CMM experience is a plus.ASQ certification is a plus.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.Ability to perform detailed visual inspections.Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment.
