Job Description
Position SummaryEmploynet is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting automotive components and finished vehicles to ensure they meet Tesla's high-quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy and safety. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on vehicle components and finished products.
- Identify, document, and report quality defects, discrepancies, and non-conforming materials.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
- Verify products meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing requirements.
- Complete quality inspections throughout the production process and conduct final inspections prior to shipment.
- Accurately document inspection findings and maintain quality records using company systems.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Assist with root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve production quality.
- Perform process audits to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Promote workplace safety while following all company policies and manufacturing standards.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives to improve efficiency and organization.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous quality control, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred.
- Ability to read work instructions, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and quality reporting.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or various shifts as needed.
