This position currently leads a team of four and offers meaningful opportunity to expand leadership scope and influence over time.

About Us: The Dixon Group is a global, family-owned manufacturing company with over 110 years of U.S. operations. The Opportunity

As the senior Quality leader on site, you will have ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS) and play a key role in elevating quality performance across the operation. This role offers the chance to balance hands-on engagement with growing strategic leadership as systems mature and the team develops.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and continuously improve the site Quality Management System (QMS), including procedures for raw material acceptance, in-process controls, and final inspection
  • Serve as the primary quality partner to Operations and Engineering, driving improvements that reduce cost of poor quality (COPQ), scrap, and rework
  • Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and customer complaint investigations
  • Prepare for and support internal and external audits, including ISO-related activities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four Quality professionals, strengthening capability and building future leaders
  • Ensure quality measurement, inspection, and testing equipment are properly maintained and utilized
  • Track, analyze, and report quality trends, risks, and improvement initiatives to division leadership

Career Growth & Development

This role is designed for a quality leader who wants to grow both people leadership and strategic influence.

  • Lead and develop a quality team today, with the opportunity to shape team structure and capability over time
  • Gain increasing visibility with division and corporate leadership through quality initiatives and results
  • Expand influence beyond the site through cross-functional and cross-site collaboration
  • Build a foundation for future advancement into senior quality, operational, or broader leadership roles within Dixon
  • Dixon's long-term, family-owned structure supports meaningful careers, not short-term roles.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing quality, including leadership responsibility in a quality, engineering, or operations role
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Quality Systems: Strong experience improving or managing a Quality Management System in a manufacturing environment
  • ISO: Experience working in ISO 9001-certified environment; hands-on involvement in certification or re-certification activities preferred
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead small teams, influence cross-functional partners, and drive improvement initiatives
  • Problem-Solving: Strong root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement skills
  • Certifications: Six Sigma, Lean, or ASQ certifications are a plus

Candidates who meet most, but not all, qualifications and are motivated to grow into the role are encouraged to apply.
