Job Description
Quality Assurance EngineerOur client is a recognized leader in the steel and industrial manufacturing industry, supplying essential products to key sectors including automotive, construction, and packaging. As part of its ongoing growth strategy, the company is investing heavily in one of its flagship facilities through capacity expansions, new production technologies, and the continued development of its engineering and quality teams.Support quality assurance efforts within a large-scale manufacturing environment by ensuring products meet customer specifications and internal standards
Partner closely with operations to provide metallurgical and technical support across production
Analyze process and product data to identify opportunities for quality improvement
Lead and support root cause investigations, rejection analysis, and corrective actions
Perform internal audits and maintain compliance with quality systems and procedures
Develop and present quality reports and participate in quality-related meetings
Conduct daily floor audits to ensure operations are running within defined parameters

Strong understanding of quality systems, with exposure to ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 preferred
Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive process improvements
Hands-on experience with root cause analysis, problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives
Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with operations and engineering teams
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in a plant environment
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven setting
Salary typically between $70K-$100K depending on experience
